What is a good home party? My home party tips...to sell the goods that you can represent. If you want to sell jewelry make sure you really like the jewelry. If you going to sell facials...is this make up that you would wear? Make sure you can back your product! You will sell more of what you can back up.

You can have the home party at home if you have small children. Hire a teenager to baby sit in another room and have the kids playing games. Invite moms over to have a get together. The kids can have fun while moms are shopping. Show off your gear. Play a few games.

Have snacks or lunch invite the kids to have a meal with you if you like.

Having children you can still have home parties! You just have to have a house big enough or go to a friends house.

The important thing about home parties is bookings! Give others incentives to have a party. You can pick a mystery hostess every week if you like. Book another hostess have another party!

What is wonderful for the moms they can shop without the kids.  The babysitter you can give her small amount of cash or do a barter with gifts. You can even trade moms each week. One week mom is hostess next week she is the baby sitter. The kids are doing crafts, playing, etc with supervision in another room.

If you want to have a family night...as long as you have a large house you can put the dad's in the den watching the ball game or video while mom's shop.  The kids have their room, dads have their room, and moms can shop in the living room. If you like you can invite the dads to shop later. Give yourself some "mom time".

End of it all, the "families" can have a snack or meal after the shopping get together.

Have small prizes for the guest. Perhaps play games and have prizes. You can have a drawing for those who show up on time.

Party planning can be fun! You don't have to leave your home unless you want to.
